here’s a recap and then some!

they flucked up my cake order.not once but twice!!!!

i put the order in like 4 days ago,and told her i would be by before 8pm on saturday. i went over it all 3 times and made sure she wrote a note about how to spell his name. in the past ppl thought the k in jakob was a typo and took it upon themselves to make it a c

so i get there at 5pm and she says there is no cake for me it won’t be ready til sunday afternoon. i said excuse me???? the party is at 11AM!! i told her i would get it today! the order form,the lady put down sunday by 6pm!

i was pissed! and she knew it! she said she would make it ASAP and it would be ready in less than 2hrs. i went home and had my dad pick it up on his way home from work.he handed them the paper and they nearly forgot the freebie baby cake-the masher!

so i hadn’t seen either yet cause my dad had it. i called to ask what the baby cake looks like. my mom says it’s a small round cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles. it’s supposed to be all WHITE!! i am soooo flucking pissed off!! my dad looked at the paper and it says in BIG letters the babys cake WHITE!!

so i called walmart and talked to a manager who was like ,wow,wow…over and over again! he said he has an overnight cake decorator and will speak with her to see what they can do for me. he said he totally understands not wanting an all choco cake for a baby. what idiots!!he later tells me we were given a choco one because they didn’t have white! hello??? my order was put in several days ago! if you can’t fulfill it CALL the customer!

so this AM my dad goes back with the choco cake-which somehow ended up being upside down and they hand him this HUGE box that a 1/2 sheet cake would be in. the lil 6 inch round cake is in it! and guess what??? it has blue icing all over it!! once again they flucked up! it was supposed to all be white! not to mention it was totally lopsided! my dad asked if we could keep the choco one as compensation for our time of coming back twice.he is told no while the girl grabs it from him and walks away. no apology,no nothing!

we had no time to worry about the blue icing as the party was in a couple of hrs.we were all very pissed off and will be talking to the store manager and quite possibly the district manager as well. how can they mess up one order THREE times???

at least the duck cake was exceptionally tasty! but you better beleive that was my first and last time at a walmart bakery!
