jakob went to the fair with a friend of mine thursday evening. he went with our family wednesday evening! lol lucky boy!! when we went we didn’t get home til close to 11pm. he was SO exhausted the next morning for school. when he came home from school my mom told him he was invited to go AGAIN and of course he said yes.

he got home close to 11 again. poor kid had red eyes and his lips were really red too.he was so very exhausted but he had a GREAT time!

a fellow fair patron gave him 2 tickets to be redeemed for fish. if you win at that game you get tickets to come back later and get your fish,rather than carry them around with you. he was so happy!

i told him we couldn’t put them in our tank right away,in case they weren’t healthy. i explained why they may not be healthy and we put them in our spare fishbowl. well, this morning both gold fish were floating at the top.

AND….our betta that we’ve had about a year was dead and halfway sucked up into the nano filter in his little tank. OMG what a morning!!

and seriously,i didn’t need this right now. cause my crazy head is thinking it is some type of sick sign about my surgery! lmao i totally know how ridiculous that is but it’s what i thought.

jakob is sad,but he understands. i told him when i am back on my feet after the surgery we will get another betta, or a different kind of fish for the 20g tank.

i am so proud of lukas!! he went on so many rides!! last year he he wouldn’t go on anything!! BUT he is still scared to ride a merry go round. we didn’t try any rides with erika this year, we’ll save that for next year! she had fun just looking at all the lights and walking around in her squeaky shoes! lukas had his on too!! lol
