i have a funny to share…. last night as i was putting lukas to bed i told him:kerrys mommy will be coming to visit soon,the one who got us the xbox for christmas.
he gasped real loud and said: she isn’t coming to take it back is she??

LMAO. i have no idea where she could get such a line! hmmm…… 😉 but something tells me i need to be prepared for a double whammy! she is turning out to be ALOT like lukas,and not just in looks-smart as a whip and cute to boot-at such a young age!
yesterday she went into the pantry and grabbed the large jar of peanut butter. walked over to daddy,handed it to him and signed for eat. then she proceeded to go to the bib bag and get herself a bib. then she went to her high chair and climbed on up!! OMG!! lol i guess it was lunch time!!
she has totally started growing up,and rapidly!! all the sudden everything just cliqued for her and she is blossoming into this adorable little girl.i can’t beleive she will be 2 in less than 3 months!!

so my 3 year old has one of the kittens in his arms and asks me if it likes to play with the poofy ball atop the spring on the scratching post.(holy run on sentence batman!)
i tell him-i’m not sure why don’t you wiggle it a little and see? you know what he did right???? lmao
my darling child stands there with this tiny kitten cradled in his arms and begins wiggling the KITTEN!! lmfao
i love moments like this-pure childhood innoncence and fun!!

lukas likes to wear his underwear backwards ALOT! the other morning he was putting a pair on and he said-mommy,spiderman doesn’t have a penis pocket!
after i recovered from laughing i told him yes he does! and i turned him around and patted his bottom where the pocket was.
he states to me- NO MOMMY! that’s not a penis pocket,that’s a butt pocket!!!
then a few days after that he is putting on undewear and comes out with this one: mommy,how come there’s never any money in my penis pocket?
yea,i had visions of chippendale dancers go thru my head! lmao-it was a very pleasant vision! HAHA
some of his best one liners are(apparantly)while he is putting on his underwear!

lukas loves granola bars all the sudden. funny thing about that is….he calls them carona bars!! i just think that is super cute and funny! 🙂
so now he has all of us referring to them as carona bars! lol
The Sun Is Crying

this child is giving me a run for my money!! we know how bright jakob is,and how bright he was as a toddler-but dare i even think it????? lukas may be already above how bright jakob was as a pre schooler!! and if this is true-OH MY GOSH are we in for it!
he is already starting to read-no lie!! just single words but still,this is huge!!he of course knows the alphabet,he learned that before he turned 3.he recognizes all his letters by site and numbers too!
the boy can tell time using a digital clock!!! ok,he isn’t ALWAYS correct but sometimes he is!! lol
he has known all his shapes since well before he turned 3-even the odd ones like octagon and oval. he even refers to doorways as rectangles! mommy,there is a spider web on jakobs rectangle by his room!!
he tells me-mommy my brain is telling my tummy that it’s hungry!! hahaha so cute!!
lukas loves to sing and tell erika stories.he loves to pretend play and even holds conversations with himself when he does it! he is truly one of a kind! i’ve gained at least 20 grays from him alone! 😉
i can’t beleive next yr he could be starting VPK!! holy cripes!! time flies!! he’ll be 3 1/2 next month!!
aside from him feeding the fish a years worth of food all at once then saying erika did it…..from the sink being full of toothpaste and he has no clue who did it…..he lied to me about washing his hands but swears jakob is the one who lied not him…..he doesn’t know how the roll of toilet paper got empty all at once….erika locked herself in her room all by herself,he had nothing to do with it……shall i continue??? 🙂
ah…….3 year olds!!it’s what the makers of tylenol were thinking about when they came out with EXTRA STRENGTH!
my life wouldn’t be the same without him though! he is the most loving little boy!he cracks us up all the time with his wit and sense of humor!!
oh,that’s TOOTHPASTE bubbles in the sink and toothpaste on the cabinets and toothpaste ALL OVER the back of the door-ya can’t see that tho. *sigh*
terrible two’s??? no way!! trying threes?? you got it!!
